Three days. That’s how long Endika had been in this lovely world when I first met him. With the cutest wrinkly hands and the funniest little expressions, three days is how long it took for him to conquer the world. His daddy Niko, one of the Blues’N’Breakers, had a really fun time throwing musical themes here and there. Needless to say, little Endika rocked it! 🙂
I was on my way to church one morning, with my usual routine going on- sitting in the back seat blasting and thoroughly enjoying music the whole way there. Suddenly, my sister started making funny gestures to get my attention. I stopped my music only to hear her say that the lovely Glenda had just gone into labor. From that point on, it only took a couple days for me to meet the beautiful, tiny, baby Joyce.
I could go on and on about how adorable, fun, and perfect this brand new little person is, but for me the best part is to get to show you through pictures, so you know what’s coming next… 😉
Congratulations Glenda & David!!
We were deceived. What looked like would surely be one of the first sunny days of the last couple of months turned out to be partly cloudy and quite chilly. That being said, nothing was going to stop me and Julio from going to the beach and doing a little photo shoot. The high points of which were him finding a pair of shoes on the rocks (don’t worry, he didn’t take them home) and me actually falling, camera and all, in between rocks. I always think it’s so funny how mid-fall my body’s reaction is always to protect the camera. You know what they say: Bodies heal, cameras don’t. Fortunately my arm only bruised a little bit and this all makes for a fun little story and some pretty cool shots. So I’m calling it a good day! 🙂
Apparently this is what happens to the beach off-season… 😦
I demanded an embarrassing “High School Musical” jump! 😛
The sun came out and gave us a glorious day. For the past couple of weeks winter had been living up to it’s high standard of making us wonder if the earth still revolves around the sun. In case you don’t know, if you live in Bilbao one i tempted to believe that the earth revolves around a thick mass of clouds. But on this beautiful day the sun had come out to play, and so I called up my friend Daniel and we walked around for hours and took pictures of Bilbao.
It was rainy, as it had been for the past 10 days. We were hoping for a few rays of sunshine to come through the thick dark clouds just long enough for us to take a little walk and be able to take a couple pictures. David and Glenda greeted me at their home and we excitedly talked about different places where we could go if it ever did stop raining. As we were in the middle of that we saw the switched the monotonous indoors for the unbelievable scenery around their home. Not much to say since I literally didn’t have to say much of anything to these two to get them to laugh, to interact with each other, or for all of us to have a great time together. But if you don’t want to take my word for it… see for yourself!
